"The Savannah Bird Girl statue was originally produced in 1938. For over 50 years, the original statue stood in Savannah's Bonaventure Cemetery. It became a tourist attraction after being featured on the cover of the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Today, the statue is located in the Telfar Academy of Arts and Sciences in Savannah, Georgia."
